>> My name is Brook Sweet, and I am an owner and aesthetician of Wax Nashville, and I've been an aesthetician for 11 years now. For me, because I came in on more of an artist's side of it, I took art through school, I was a make-up artist. I loved the structure, the shadows and contours of the face already. I never got into much of the medical part of the aesthetics. Although I did like to do extractions and facials and some peel stuff, but I didn't want to be in charge of ruining their skin, I just wanted to make them feel good. I greet and receive guests for services. I am constantly checking the aesthetic of the shops, making sure everything is in place, and in order. We're actually in the process of creating a customized package program, so that they can buy so many and get one free. It's a customized package of your choice versus what the business owner or business has already done for you. In the beauty industry, your weekends are your busiest days, so you're a slave to weekends, so you don't ever get to really have one like everyone else. That's why we close a little earlier, so that they still feel like they have a weekend. I think you can kind of tell when that guest comes in if they're going to be a problem guest or not. Especially when you know your staff is really good, and there are still complaints. Sometimes it makes you wonder if it's that person just looking for something for free. We do very well to accommodate any complaints, and kind of smooth things over. We always like to touch base with anyone who's had a problem. We will actually, me and Rochelle will call them personally to discuss it, because I feel like a lot of the old school business ethics are gone now, out of touch, because everything's on your phone, or whatever. We still like to keep some of that old school hospitality.
